I am a lucky girl....
I have an amazing network of friends - my real life friends, my far away friends, my family and my husband.
Sometimes I'm not looking for advice, not looking for the answer, and not looking for someone to tell me to look on the bright side. Sometimes I'm just looking for people to listen, and offer me some sympathy, empathy and support without judgement.
And thankfully, that's what they've all been giving me this week, and for that I am truly grateful.

in other news, I seem to have caught the flu in the last 12 hours. How did this happen? Go to bed, feeling perfectly healthy....wake up feeling achy, runny nose, sore throat and lethargic? crazy....
